Court of Protection Fees

Dealing with the Court of Protection can often feel daunting, particularly during an already difficult time. At Campion Solicitors, we are here to offer reassurance, clarity and complete support throughout the process, providing you with clear court of protection fees and peace of mind.

Our Fixed Fee Service

Body: We charge in accordance with the fixed solicitor rates set by the Court of Protection. These include:

• £950 plus VAT for a standard Deputyship application
• £500 plus VAT for preparation of a basic report or annual return
• £250 plus VAT for general correspondence and advice

In addition to our legal fees, the Court charges a standard application fee of £371 per Deputyship application. We aim to make the process as smooth and transparent as possible, keeping you informed at every stage. Required under anti-money laundering regulations, ID Verification & Client Due Diligence is charged at £40 + VAT per person.

Clarity and Confidence in Your Legal Costs

We provide a detailed estimate of costs in your initial Client Care Letter, outlining an expected range of legal fees. While disbursements (third-party costs) are additional, we will always give you a clear indication of what these are likely to be. To keep you fully informed, we review and update your costs regularly, either every three months or when fees approach the upper end of the original estimate, whichever comes first.
