Legal Services Fees and Transparency Statement
Clear, Transparent and Fair Legal Fees
We believe legal costs should be clear, fair and predictable with no hidden extras.
In line with the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s Transparency Rules, introduced in December 2018, we aim to help clients make informed decisions about their legal services.
These rules require us to publish detailed information about the prices we charge for specific services and we are committed to providing transparency and clarity in every matter we handle.
We offer transparent pricing for a wide range of services, including those covered by the Transparency Rules and other legal matters. Wherever possible, we provide fixed fees, ensuring you know exactly what to expect.
For more complex matters, we provide a full estimate and solicitors hourly rates before beginning work. All estimates are provided without obligation or sales pressure and our goal is to ensure you feel confident and informed when instructing us.

How We Charge
Estimates
When we provide a fee estimate, either verbally or in writing, it reflects our assessment of the likely fee based on the information available at the time. Estimates are subject to revision and if it becomes clear that fees may exceed the initial estimate, we will inform you promptly and discuss the next steps.
Quotations/Fixed Fees
A quotation is a proposal to carry out specific work for a clearly defined fee. Quotations identify the work included and are generally not subject to change unless the scope is revised or additional work is requested. Any extra work will be charged at our standard hourly rates.
VAT
VAT is charged on all fees at the current rate of 20%, and on most disbursements.
Charging Rates
Unless otherwise agreed, our charges are based on the time our professional staff spend working on your matter, calculated at our standard hourly rate. We maintain detailed records of all work undertaken (Work in Progress or WIP), which are available on request.
