Our role is to make the process as clear, reassuring and straightforward as possible, whilst providing transparent equity release fees throughout. Equity Release is a significant financial step, and our role is to ensure that everything is explained clearly, from the legal implications to the total costs involved.
Our Fixed Fee Service
We offer a fixed fee of £800 plus VAT for our equity release service. This covers all necessary legal advice, document review and formalities from start to finish. If any unforeseen or unusual circumstances arise, or if additional work is required beyond the original instructions, we will always inform you in advance and provide an updated cost estimate before proceeding. Required under anti-money laundering regulations, ID Verification & Client Due Diligence is charged at £40 + VAT per person.

Bank Transfer Fees
We charge a fee for transferring funds electronically via Telegraphic Transfer (CHAPS) or Faster Payment. Our current fee is £40 + VAT per transaction. This service is typically used for:
- Sending the purchase price to a seller’s solicitor
- Transferring sale proceeds to you
- Redeeming a mortgage
- Distributing funds to beneficiaries or executors in probate cases
- Sending the proceeds of equity release
Clarity and Confidence in Your Legal Costs
We provide a detailed estimate of costs in your initial Client Care Letter, outlining an expected range of legal fees. While disbursements (third-party costs) are additional, we will always give you a clear indication of what these are likely to be. To keep you fully informed, we review and update your costs regularly, either every three months or when fees approach the upper end of the original estimate, whichever comes first.
