We understand that making a Will is a significant and deeply personal decision.

While we prepare Wills every day, we recognise that for you it may feel like a big step. Our goal is to make the process as straightforward, reassuring and professional as possible, providing you with clear Will fees and complete peace of mind that your wishes will be clearly set out and legally protected.

Our Fixed Fee Service

Our fixed fee for preparing your Will and handling all formalities is £250 plus VAT (£50) per Will. For couples wishing to make mirror Wills, the total cost is £450 plus VAT (£90). This transparent pricing ensures you know exactly what to expect, with no hidden extras or unexpected charges.

If you choose to register each Will with the National Certainty Register, an additional fee of £45 plus VAT (£9) applies. This registration provides extra assurance that your Will can be easily located when needed.

Additional Work and Complex Matters

In some cases, there may be unforeseen or unusual circumstances requiring additional work beyond the standard service. For example, if your estate is particularly complex or you wish to include specific provisions not covered in the initial instructions. Should this occur, we will always discuss this with you in advance and provide an updated cost before any additional work is carried out.

Clarity and Confidence in Your Legal Costs

We provide a detailed estimate of costs in your initial Client Care Letter, outlining an expected range of legal fees. While disbursements (third-party costs) are additional, we will always give you a clear indication of what these are likely to be. To keep you fully informed, we review and update your costs regularly, either every three months or when fees approach the upper end of the original estimate, whichever comes first.
